Believers have asked throughout history:
In light of God's commands and in light of circumstances, opportunities, and moral obligations, how shall we live?
The answer varies since God's plan for each of us is distinct and unique. But there are also general principles and circumstances that apply to all of us.
To tackle the question , we me first understand the idea of tension.
In case you missed it the first time. Also, it has been updated and more crosslinks have been added.

In this day when Christians are persecuted, printing lies about the Catholic Church promotes disunity. The Catholic Church does not endorse the UN. The pope has not issued a statement or encyclical endorsing the UN. I am often exasperated when I see the blatant dislike bordering on hatred for the Catholic Church. We are the Church formed by Christ, “You are Peter and Upon this Rock, I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” Despite it’s weak humans who have sinned, the Church has lasted more than 2000 years. Since the Reformation, there are now 30,000 plus denominations. So who is correct. Please report accurately. The day of persecution is here. Now is not the time to be degrading another Church
Navyenduring, I am a member of the catholic church (little c) and am in fact ordained under apostolic succession. But that doesn’t change the fact that the vatican issued a press release endorsing the UN and calling for a global centralization of financial authority. http://durablefaith.com/2011/10/25/vatican-gives-un-an-indulgence/
Thanks for the info. I know somethings coming out of the Vatican are not approved by the Pope.
And I know not all Catholics will put up with a return to Babel. Glad to know you.
Feel free to read the full text of the vatican’s release here and I welcome your comments: http://www.news.va/en/news/full-text-note-on-financial-reform-from-the-pontif
